The Long Awaited Picture Post!

Just have to tell you I love those two! They make my life full of smiles and a joy. Thanks for being my family!
Lily and Olivia were having a little Disney party while Christie went shopping. We had some snacks and watched The Little Mermaid! We love having Lily over it was so much fun!
Holding on for dear life... or something. When I put her on her changing table she grabs the sides and won't let go. It is super funny. She LOVES holding on to things. It started in the NICU with her tubes and things and now she still holds on to anything she can grab.
This is how my child has be falling asleep lately. She keeps pulling blankets up to her face, rubbing them on her face and falling asleep. It's quite cute.
Brenda and Olivia! Love that Brenda has her chiropractor appointments in Cedar City, that means I get to feed them lunch or them me before they go home! :)
Becka's first time holding Olivia! So cute! Love those girls!
Olivia got a high chair! She LOVES it. She likes to play with her toys right now in it and sit with us at dinner and when I am doing the dishes... I think she thinks she's helping :) Someday she will love making a mess in it when she eats!
We had a little family adventure in St. George the Saturday before Easter. We went to a museum in St. George and this is Olivia and I with the Owl!
Olivia with the baby skunks! Stinky babies :)
I cried when I saw the giraffe because it is real!!!! Sad, but I took a picture with it anyway.
Tay and Olivia and the big elk! That thing Tay is holding is how we heard and learned about the animals we walked by. It was pretty fun. We liked.
We took this picture for our friend Cody who served his mission in Australia. We thought of his family when we saw it. Love you Stocks!
Olivia's new hat! She is still bald so we figured we should start getting a few summer hats for her so we can go outside and not get sun burnt.
Easter weekend we were lucky enough to have Grandma Juber with us (on her birthday). It was a short visit, but a good one.
Olivia on my bed. I thought my star quilt colors and her looked good for her Easter morning picture! Happy First Easter baby girl.

Glad and Olivia getting all chalky! I was making some card and my scrapbook chalk was out when Glade and her mom came over and she decided to paint Olivia's face with it. Pretty funny.
Kayce and Olivia. Kayce came over to my house, I am so proud of her. It took us awhile to become good friends, but now that we are I love it!
Riley, he's crazy. He came for part of his spring break and we loved it. We love having him around, he can always make us laugh. Love you brother!
Miss Olivia is a happy girl. She has gotten big the last few weeks and is so much fun. She laughs and talks and screams all day.
Look at those beautiful brown eyes!
What a girl. She loves sleeping on my bed.
Here is little miss doing her breathing treatments. After being congested for what felt like forever we took her to the doctors again and a new doctor listened to her lungs and said holy moly. So now she is on breathing treatment to help keep her lungs strong and not filled with gunk. She has some nasty allergies and they think she has a bit of asthma, so this is supposed to help her and since we've been doing it for the last couple of weeks it has made a world of difference in her breathing!
 Naked baby!
So dang cute!
Well friends and family, life here is good and busy. We are getting ready for all of our family to get here this weekend for her blessing. It is going to be a huge party, that is for sure. Anyone is welcome to come, she's mighty popular. Than we have check outs and check ins for the apartments and than maybe we can slow down a bit. We'll see. Love you all, thanks for your love and support. Have a wonderful week.

Not About Olivia :-)

I have come to terms that you all get on here to see pictures of my beautiful baby, and really I would too if I didn't get to hold and kiss her everyday, but this post is not about her. I have two good friends from my college days that posted this and so I decided to do it too!
You are all invited to do it too! I would love to learn more about all you blog friends that I stock! :)

List 20 random facts about yourself:

1. For a lot of my life I wished that my mom would have not listened to my dad and named me Lacie Jo like so wanted, luckily I had some friends that started calling me that in my life so I have learned to love having my full middle name JOLENE!

2. I am obsessed with names. I love them I wish I could have 20 kids so I could name them all and love them too of course. I love middle names and meaning behind names and why parents named their children what they did and there will probably be more of the 20 things about names!

3.  I love Disney! I love Disneyland, Disney World, Disney Channel, Disney Movies pretty much I told Tayce that we could have one more child and than we could afford to go to Disneyland every year! I don't know if I would really do that, but it crossed my mind ;)

4. I was born wanting to go to church. I don't know how it worked or why, but it did and I love being this way. My mom has always told me that as early as I could put my own clothes on I would put a dress on, on Sunday and tell my mom I was ready for church. My family is not like that, but I came that way.

5. I am a new found food snob. It's true. I told Tayce if I never had to go to a chain restaurant like Apple Bee's again I would be happy. I think that we should expect high quality food from the places we go instead of instant microwave food. Or something out of a pouch or from the freezer. If I wanted freezer food I would go to Smith's and buy some Stouffers.

6. I dream of having family that I can hang out with and be best friends with. I grew up seeing families and still see families that hang out and go shopping and on vacations together and I want that.

7. I will never tell anyone I have 1 child, I have 3 and even though you can't see 2 of them they are part of my family and I love them. I told someone who asked if Olivia was my only child yes and she started sobbing, big ol' tears. That reaffirmed to me that they are part of my family.

8. I have dealt with low self esteem my whole life, but that is just with my weight, really I don't have much self esteem issues when it comes to knowing that I am great! I know that sounds conceded, but really I'm just trying to be like Jesus and he's great! :)

9. I have huge anxiety issues when it comes to my house being messy. If my house is a mess or unorganized I will be not so nice and grumpy. So I will clean one room and hide in it.

10. If I could live in Cedar City for the rest of my life I would. I have moved so much in my life that I feel like I have finally found my home. I can't really say any where else is my home.

11. I am an analyzer, I love to analyze people and situations. I want to figure people out and when I can't I get cranky and I will not give up. Most people know me as extroverted and not real afraid to talk to others, but when I am in a new situation I will sit back and watch people, make sure I feel safe around them. I am pretty sure I learned this from my mother.

12. I have to have my towels folded a certain way or it bugs me. (I defiantly learned this from my mom)

13. I almost hate video games. I do like them and I do not want them to played in my house. I have to make a side comment that we do have a Wii, it is the first video game I have ever let in my house and it is fun, but if it is played too much I get all agitated. It's a childhood issue, but it hasn't went away.

14. I really wish I had a Mac instead of a PC. Deep down I am a Mac not a PC, that is why I love my IPad!

15. I was trying to figure out why I am who I am, my mom says that Heavenly Father just sent me down this way and than as I was thinking I think my Aunt and Uncle from Oregon really had a HUGE impact in my life. I married a nice guy like my uncle, and I feel like a lucky girl to have Tayce and my uncle in my life. I like to shop like my auntie and really if I could be like her when I grow up I totally would. I love them and I give a lot of credit to them for who I am. LOVE YOU AUNT JOAN AND UNCLE LARRY!

16. Scrapbooking and card making and crafting bring me joy. I would do it everyday if I could get my self to do it. For some awful reason I always find something else to do, like clean, do apartment stuff, hold my baby :), talk on the phone, go for a walk, and so on. But, really when I finish something I feel so good and want to show everyone, I feel like I am a kid again.

17. I care too much about what people think of me, so this year I have been trying to work on that. The people that love me will tell me the truth and if they don't they should. So and so that might think something negative about me doesn't really matter. It is what I think and my family and my friends who love and care about me. Their opinions matter.

18. I love that Alice's name is my name (Lacie) scrambled. It makes me happy.

19. I still get emotional when I see big beautiful pregnant woman, I know that won't ever be me and that is hard for me. I still love them, but it's hard knowing that you don't get what you have always dreamed of (here on earth that is). And to tell you the truth if I could I would be one of those "crazy" moms who have their babies at home. I think it's beautiful and wonderful and really no one could talk me out of it.

20. I have a shoe fetish that doesn't make much sense. I would rather not wear shoes, but I love to have shoes. Really I am crazy. And I don't like shoes that I have to wear socks with. Socks make me feel claustrophobic and taking socks off make me happy. :)

Hope I didn't bore you. That are some things about me, what about you? Some of you might now better random things about me, you should comment and let me know if you think of any. :)

Uploading difficulties!

Sorry for the delay in posts. My computer is having issues! EEK! It won't read my card or CD's I put in it. Tayce needs to look at if for me.
I'll update a bit without pictures for those of you who are interested.
Tayce's new job is going well. He likes it a lot. I am trying to get used to it, which is hard for me, but I'm hanging in there.
Olivia is doing pretty good. She has been sick and every time we thought she was getting better she would start hacking again. We were going through all these different things it could be and whatever was making it happened she ended up on breathing treatments. Her little lungs were beat! She has been working for almost a month trying to get all the gunk out and she was just not getting it out. It resulted in an ear infection and oxygen at night again. It is okay we were trained early by good people that the life of a preemie is a couple steps forward and one step back. They just have to work through things a bit differently. We love her for it, that is for sure!
She is doing better each day now. She likes her breathing treatments and it's pretty cute to watch her hold the mask up to her mouth and laugh.
Tyler has been with us off and on. He is now in two shoes! That's good. He will be staying with us until the summer and than living in some of the apartments we manage, it is very helpful to have him around. He does a lot for me while Tayce is gone and I have a line out my door of people who need apartment stuff!
Me, well I am doing pretty good. I have been on a diet called the Game On Diet with some of my friends and it is going well! I have lost 5 pounds thus far and this is only the beginning. I have been working on being more positive to myself and it has helped a lot. I feel much better when I am active and eating well. I have taken a lot of preservatives, additives, dyes and things out of my food and it has made a world of difference. Being a mom to Olivia has been one of the greatest things I have ever done. It is exciting and challenging and so worth it. It is like a dream come true and I love it. Deciding to be a stay at home mom was hard for me, but now I couldn't do it any other way. Having to take over the apartments has been hard because I feel like it takes away from being a mom and blogging and budgeting and cleaning and pretty much life in general, but I know it will get better. This is just the busy time, so I will stick too it and enjoy it and be grateful that we have such a good situation right now.
Overall life is good, we have the most amazing friends in the whole universe and wouldn't know what to do without them. We love them so much and life is better having them in our lives. Thank you!

7 MONTHS!

Oh my goodness my baby is 7 months old! She is getting so big and so much fun. Being a mom is more than I ever imagined. I already realized that I could love that much and worry this much, but I haven't been able to enjoy the milestones and the watching my children grow and learn, so this is amazing!
I have realized the last few weeks that I have kept waiting for some switch to come one that made me "feel" like a mom and really as I have wondered and pondered and cried I realized I already felt like a mom. I have had so many people tell me "Lacie when you are a mom", "Lacie when you have kids you'll know" and so on and so forth so I just thought I didn't know how it felt to be a mom. OH WERE THEY WRONG! I have known how it feels to be a mom since 9:18pm on November 30, 2008. I never realized it until now, but at that moment I learned that I could love another person more than I ever knew possible, at that moment I felt sorrow and pain that I never knew was in me, at that moment my heart was torn out of my chest and never was put back the same, at that moment I was a mother and I felt pains and hurts and sadness all at once instead of waiting until they were big enough to talk back or kick me. My feelings of love and desires for the safety of my child were how mothers feel. Yes my pains and tears were different, but I promise each and every one of you who are mothers that you would much rather be woken up, kicked at, talked back too and all the other things mothers have to go through than the alternative.
So, as I wake up and I'm tired and spit up on and always worried I feel SO BLESSED that this baby got to stay, that this time I got to continue watching and worrying and hoping and  doing all that mom stuff.
SO BIG!
Conference Saturday we made Swedish pancakes! You might think they are crepes, but they are not. They are thinner than crepes and my grandma Jo makes them for me and now I make them. A little bit different, because I use wheat flour, less butter and I made filling and apple berry reduction! :)
Loving the Bumbo still!
Totally had to take a cute little feet picture!
This is Olivia's butterfly, which was given to her by Nurse Vanessa for Christmas. SHE LOVES IT! Going on car rides are not fun unless we have her butterfly. Thank you Vanessa we love it!!!!
We are doing well and loving life. Things get stressful, but that's life. Tay got a new job and he starts on Monday. He is working at Learn Key in Cedar City. It will be a new adventure for sure, but it will help in the bill paying area :) He is still working on school and after this semester will have 2 more and then we're done!... for a little while I guess. Who knows how much schooling he'll decided to do.
Love you friends and family too!
