Olivia and Hannah Meet

Riley really wanted to go to Kanab and I didn't, so Tayce dropped me off in St. George and took Riley to Kanab and came back and hung out with us at the Carlings. :) Above is Mama Groke with the babies and Brenda. Look at Olivia looking at Hannah, she knows they are best friends.

So for being about 10 months apart Olivia looks like a shrimp. Hannah must have a goal to catch up to her. :) At this point in their friendship Olivia is more interested than Hannah. I am pretty sure Hannah just wondered why Olivia wouldn't leave her alone!

Olivia was pretty fascinated with her hair. Hannah does have much more than baldy.

Tayce got to meet Hannah! She liked him pretty well.
Oh cute. Just to inform you all if we had Alice with us and Olivia this is how it would be. Crazy to think of having two babies at once.
 Sweet face Hannah!
The boys and their girls! So cute.
Had to compare feet. Olivia has got a bit on her, but you know Hannah is getting all of Olivia's shoes.
Becka wanted to get in on the foot comparing.
Becka and I had a tea party and dressed up and all that girly stuff. So much fun. We even had a light saber war and read books and played pretend. Love you Becka!
Had a good time at the Carlings! :) Thanks for dinner.

Robinson Summer

Sunday at our house! Look at those cute people. Sure do love them!
 Riley being crazy.
Sweet baby wearing her dress from Ashely & Chase! Love them, thank you!
I am pretending to sleep. Tayce says I always get pictures of him when him and Olivia are sleeping, but he never gets them of us. Well news to him, it doesn't happen very often at all. :)
Glade came and visited with her mom of course. She came and showed us her sweet Light Brite she got. We love when the Pearson's come over and visit.
Olivia trying to get a drink!
Well, Olivia has a crush on Beau. We know she loves him and when we take a walk to go see dad at work, she know exactly where Beaus desk is. It's funny.
This has got to be a framer!

Utah Summer Games Fireworks

Lucky us we get to be friends with Beau and MaLynda (who will be getting married on September 14th!). We went out to a park and ate some dinner and watched the fire works, the night of Utah Summer Games fire works.
Olivia wore this cute little outfit from MaLynda. She got it for her from Disneyland when she was in the NICU and we thought it would never fit her, but it does and it's adorable. Thank you Aunt Monda!
 That's a BEAUtiful face Beau!
Well we waited along time for the fireworks and we were so excited for Olivia to see them, but alas she fell asleep like 30 seconds before they started and the booms never even made her flinch. :)
Thanks Beau and MaLynda for a fun night!

Beautiful Hannah

I feel SO blessed to have these two girls as best friends. They are amazing and wonderful and are so good at being WONDERFUL. Love you Brenda and Kayce.
This post could be all about the two them, but really it's about the amazing experience I had on June 13th. I was privileged to attend the birth of Hannah.
Kayce and I got a text from the Carling household the morning of Thursday the 13th that Brenda was in labor. We got our things together and drove to the scorching world of St. George. The ride was good, good thing I had Kayce to keep me from hyperventilating. I was super excited. We got to the Carling's house and there we began the journey of Hannah's birth.
Brenda was a superstar! Her and Caleb worked together so perfectly. She labored while Kayce, Christy, and I hung out with Becka. I sporadically took pictures and video of her and Caleb and the morning went smoothly (it seemed).
Early afternoon Brenda started to push and my heart leaped and I couldn't believe that once again I would be able to witness the birth of one of Heavenly Fathers beautiful children. As Brenda continued to be a rock star and I manged to be some what calm (everyone else was way good at being calm) the beautiful baby was born.
She came out inch by inch and as the birth photographer I was able to get some pretty amazing photos (they are with Brenda and Caleb). I got to sit with Becka and talk with her as she watched her mom give birth to her beautiful sister. That experience alone was remarkable. To watch a 3 1/2 year old watch a birth and understand the way Becka did reaffirmed to me that children are amazing. They are so close to the spirit and understand so much more than we do. She held my hand and made very little noise and when Hannah was delivered she sat with her mom and sister and met her for the first time. What a beautiful experience, what a testimony builder to watch this family finally hold their sweet baby. Families are so important and the Carlings are an excellent example of cherishing and loving family.
Mom and baby did amazing. Brenda well, there are not words that explains her awesomeness. She did amazingly. From her experience with Becka to her long wait to get pregnant and the journey she took to decide to have a home birth, she was remarkable.
We all got love on and hold baby and I even got to put her first diaper and outfit on! Made me feel cool, but what made me feel even cooler is that I got to cut the cord. Yup you heard it I got to cut the cord and now Hannah and I are forever buddies!
Hannah came out with beautiful red hair! Love that! She was 9 1/2 pounds and 21 inches long, with a 14 inch diameter head. (I think I got those numbers pretty close). She is now eating like a champ and growing. Her goal is to catch up to her new best friend Olivia. :)
In the end the day was fantastic. Kayce and I didn't want to leave. We had a bonding experience that made us closer than ever. Again I have to express that I am blessed to be associated with such amazing people. (Look at that beautiful Aunt Monda above, I get to be friends with her too! I'm lucky.)
Thank you Caleb and Brenda for allowing me to be apart of that beautiful experience. Thank you for reminding me that birth is natural and beautiful. Thank you for allowing my family to be apart of yours and for being such amazing people. I love you all so very much!

Fun Times with Riley!

So miss Olivia got to hang our with Riley for almost a month! He came to stay with us and we loved it. The first morning we woke up without him here we missed him for sure. If I say Riley's name Olivia gets all excited and looks around. Loved having you stay with us Riley Man.
 They became buddies pretty quick.
Grandma Nae came to drop Riley off and stayed for the weekend. Olivia loves her Grandma Nae.
Lucy was being so silly. She would drop her ball on Olivia's tray and sit and look at her, waiting for her to throw it. It was humorous.

We were playing games on the IPad!
 Cute Riley!
 Olivia wearing Riley's hat!
 Hanging out with Ry.
Riley was a big help. He helped me a lot and it is much appreciated. He's so good with Olivia, even if he would get annoyed if she whined.
She's getting so big!
This picture would not cooperate! But, it is Riley making pizza like a pro.
With the help of Tyler we made some pizza!
