Alice Jolene Robinson

Alice Jolene Robinson
Graveside Services December 2, 2010

This was a day full of feelings that I pray I do not forget. It was a day that was full of pain, but also joy. Tay and I decided to do Alice's services differently then Graydin's. We wanted to be more open and let others join us in celebrating this beautiful baby girls life. We had such amazing support and love that it was possible and happened. On Thursday morning I got to sit at the mortuary and hold my sweet angel one last time in this mortal life and say a 'short' see you soon. We were able to put her in a blanket that I made and one that her cousins and Aunt Amy made (Which was beautiful). We went to the cemetery and had beautiful services that was I hope for all who was there full of the spirit. Tay's brothers were amazing (as usual) and helped us out so much. Alice's Grandmas gave the prayers that touched my heart and tears come to my eyes to know that this little angel has the best grandmas a little girl could ever ask for. We listened to some songs that had touched my heart and helped me as I prepared for this day. We listened to "Avery's Song" and "He'll Carry You". It was closure that we didn't feel with Graydin and it helped so much.
(I would feel bad not to tell you that Tayce was amazing. He is a spiritual giant and I feel so lucky that I would be blessed to call him mine. He dug the second grave of one of his children that day and dedicated the second resting spot. The spirit he had was so strong and it penetrated my heart. What an amazing father he is already and what a daddy's girl little Alice is forever. Thank you Tay for being who you are and treating me better then I ever deserve. I love you.)
I won't lie and say I'm all better and happy, I'm not. But, I will say that the spirit in our home is different the feelings of hope are strong and the spirit of family is over powering as we live on each day. There will not be a day I do not miss my sweet angels, but for whatever reason Alice chose to come and go and give us hope that we could continue a family with the knowledge that doctors can help get our children here safe and whatever children are waiting for us we know she is near. We thank her for what she has given us and I am sorry that she had to do it, but what a strong spirit she has.
We love you dear ALICE JOLENE and CHARLES GRAYDIN... God be with you and us till we meet again.

Alice's blanket.

Some pictures we put up at her service's. Thank you to the Linton's for always being there for us and helping us out.

Brenda took pictures for us and took some really good ones. That is my mom, Tay and I.

The flowers were done by Grandma Jo, they were perfect and matched her blanket. Her little box was made by Grandpa Heaton in Moccasin. Thank you to both of you we love and appreciate you.

Thank you to all of you who have loved and supported up, prayed for us and have been there for us. We love you and are eternally grateful to you and our Heavenly Father for blessing us with you. God bless you and Merry Christmas friends and family.

Happy Birthday Graydin

The last few days have been almost more then I have been able to bear, but with the love of so many and the faith of so many I have been able to take a step at a time. With the love of an amazing husband I will be able to make it.
Today is an especially hard day for the both of us as we remember the birth of our dear son. Today is Graydin's 2nd birthday and we hope with all our hearts that today has been a day that him and Alice have spent together.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY GRAYDIN
we love and miss you

Angel Baby Number Two :(

I don't know if this is the time I should be doing this, but as I sit in my house and mourn the 2nd loss of a beautiful baby I feel the need to get some of the emotions out.

Here is Alice's Story
On Thanksgiving I was having a really emotional day. I was almost the same amount of weeks with Alice as with Graydin, we were in Kanab and everything was so familiar. There were so many emotions coming back and it was hard. I kept thinking I am being so silly, but I was emotional and didn't feel good, so I went back to my room and cried.
I woke up Friday feeling a little better. We went to Tayce's Mom and Dad's house to be with the family. We went on a walk with two of our nephews and when we got back I felt some cramping, I thought it was because of the walk and being so active the last few days so I disregarded them. At about dinner time I was getting uncomfortable, Tayce took me to our room and called our doctor, the labor and deliver told him to have me take Tylenol and take a bath, it wasn't working so we went to the hospital.
At the hospital the contraction were coming strong and I was upset, "I can't do this again"
I kept telling Tayce. I tried so hard to keep my faith and keep hoping for a better outcome. Dusty and Lori came to help Tay give me a blessing and hang out with us. In Kanab they do not have the facilities to do much, so the doctors discussed transporting me to SLC, but in the end the ambulance came and got me and took Tayce and I to St. George. We had a fantastic crew that came and got us and helped so much. They were so hopeful and helped me stay calm. What a blessing they were to us.
When we got to St. George they tried everything to stop the contraction and tried to figure out what was going on, but I was dilating. The doctor gave us the option to keep stopping them and try and keep her in as long as possible, but my white blood cell count kept coming back with more, which is a sign of infection. If there is an infection small babies would not make it, so we had to just let my body take course.
At 8:22am on Saturday I delivered our beautiful little girl with Tayce and Lindy by my side. She was so beautiful and was moving and making noises. She lived for almost an hour and her daddy was able to give her a name and blessing with Jess. It was beautiful and an amazing experience to hold her in my arms and let her hold my finger. We named her Alice Jolene and got to be with her all day.
We were able to give her a bath and put clothes on her. We had amazing nurses that helped us so much. They took her and took pictures of her and did molds of her hand and feet. They made me a box with all of her things in it and made it a special experience. Our hearts our so full for the love we felt from the doctor and nurses there.
The emotions we are having right now are so scrambled. It is hard to believe that almost to the date 2 years ago we were doing the same thing with our Graydin, but we were. It is hard to believe that it could happen again, but it did. We miss her so much already and will everyday of our lives, just like Graydin.
We pray for the strength to keep going. We are grateful for all of our family and friends who help us so very much. We are so so appreciative of the doctors and nurses that did SO much for us and made our experience the best it could be. We have to thank Dusty and Lori for getting up in the middle of the night to hang out with us in the hospital in Kanab, and Jess and Lindy for coming and being by our side again during this trying time and for my mom driving down here to take care of us again. We are blessed to have such amazing people in our lives and hope that you know we love and appreciate you in our lives.

We will be having services for Alice in Kanab this coming week. We will post more information as we know it.

Disneyland Birthday!

So, I have been told by many that I am spoiled... well, I'll admit it I am. Tayce took me to Disneyland for my 25th birthday! It was so much fun. We left on Friday the 4th and stayed until Tuesday the 9th. We went to Disneyland on Saturday and some friends came from up north and cedar (Alyssa and Colby). We had lots of fun celebrating Alyssa's birthday too. On Sunday I rested quite a bit, all day at the park took a lot out of me. But, it was good more friends came from Cedar (Beau, MaLynda, Cole and Courtney) and we went to the beach. It was cold and windy, but it was so beautiful to see the ocean. Monday we headed back to the happiest place on earth and had a blast! The whole weekend was so much fun. On the way home Beau and MaLynda came with us and we stopped in Las Vegas to go to the Cheese Cake Factory, lets just say the food is great, but it's not Tay's favorite place to drive. :)
Thank you to all who celebrated my birthday with me weather it was in Disneyland or singing in the Rotunda at SUU or just remembering me. You are all amazing. Love you all and have a HAPPY THANKSGIVING!

Tay and I walking into DISNEYLAND!

They were starting to decorate for Christmas, it was beautiful.

All I wanted for my birthday was something to unwrap, well Tay had the cashier lady to wrap this Woody doll up in Disneyland bags and then she made a bow out of the receipt paper. It was so cute and I almost cried because I just wanted to unwrap something and he remembered. What an amazing husband I have. LOVE YOU TAY and THANK YOU!

There are MaLynda and I's knights! They are so handsome!

Beau and MaLynda came with us and we loved it. Look at how sweet they are.

Tayce and I at the beach!
Here is Cole, Courtney, Beau and MaLynda they actually got in and boogie boared in that cold water.

This is Tayce playing the Toy Story Mania ride. It is one of the best rides in both parks.
Colby and Alyssa riding the Peter Pan ride! It's a good one.
There I am by the Alice and Wonderland rides!

Tayce had a birthday shout horray!

This Costco cake said Payce on it when we went to pick it up. I made them change it. Tay said we didn't have too, but it's his birthday it should at least say his name right.
Here is little Becka playing with the party favors! She is a doll that is for sure! And she loves Tayce.
We had many children over for Tay's party. It was great all of our best buddies hanging out together. The only problem is they all think my toys are their toys, so they were in for a surprise when they were all together.
There is my adorable handsome amazing husband. He is the best man a woman could ask for. I hope he had a great day and I apologize to him for being such a slacker on posting his party. I love you Tay. :)

Let us catch you up with a few things...

Halloween was fun. We went to Emerald Pointe and had a party with the Service Leaders and the residents there. We made masks and decorated pumpkins. On Sunday we made dinner in a pumpkin and fed some staving college students.
October has just been a busy month. We also got to participate in Make a Difference Day on October 23rd. We helped at a community carnival where all the proceeds went to the new shelter being built in Cedar. It was so much fun and a lot of our friends came. I even got to win some prizes!
I was able to have a girls day at Brenda's house! We talked and sewed and ate! We also helped with a belly cast... it was pretty cool. Thanks Brenda for being so dang amazing. :)
I get the opportunity to tend one of the cutest little boys in the world. He is one of my best friends pretty much. We play at the park, watch Cars, go to McDonald's, watch big trucks, go to dance classes he even hangs out with me if I have to go into work. He definitely is a champion for handling me all the time. Thanks Cody and Kristen for trusting me with your little one, we sure do love to hang out.
OH, don't you worry I got Beauty and the Beast the day it came out and I've watched it more then I can count on my fingers. It's still my favorite. Love you Tay for spoiling me so much and for loving me!

It's a GIRL!

We never had a picture like this with Graydin. This looks crazy, but there she is. Our tech's name was Lacee and her maiden name is Robinson. Funny huh!

We thought this was a pretty cute picture. I think she might end up looking like Tayce a little, just like Graydin did.

So there is the proof. The tech was pretty confident that it's a girl!

Ultrasound #2

Well, this time around they are keeping a pretty close eye on me and the baby. Our doctor is pretty amazing and gave us an ultrasound just so we would feel comforted that she/he is there. So at 13 weeks (about) we got to see the baby. It was fun and it really made us happy to see a baby. The heart was going like crazy and the baby kept doing some cool little fluttery dance moves. It was great!
If I haven't told you yet, THANK YOU. Thank you for your friendship, prayers, and congratulations. We appreciate your support for this amazing blessing. We love you all and we'll keep you updated.

Fondue Party... the first!

We had an amazing fondue party with the Carling, Beau and MaLynda! It was so much fun. Brenda helped me plan it and cook it (otherwise it wouldn't have been so good). We made two cheese sauces and had a chocolate one too.

Sorry about this picture, I forgot to turn it, But there we are at our party.

There is MaLynda and Beau! They are so cute. We are glad they came. They went on a 14 mile hike that morning, we're glad they made it.

There is Tay and Caleb. They were standing at the chocolate pot just munching away!

There is all the things to dip. We had SO much food. It was so good!

And the cheese, well one of them. Thank you Brenda for making this party so grand and thank you friends for coming to our party. If you are extremely jealous just let me know we are willing to have more fondue parties.

Just to let you know... ; )

I don't know if I need to say much more. But I will say this, I'm not kidding. We are due the beginning of April. We are 12 weeks and are SO EXCITED. Thank you for your prayers and concerns, we love you all!

Labor Day Weekend!

We went up to my mom's house for part of Labor Day Weekend. The evening we got up there we went to University Mall and at a PF Chang's! After we went with Riley to pick out his 1st skate board. I tried to get him to get a helmet, knee pads, and elbow pads but it wasn't cool enough. :)

SYRIE'S 2nd Birthday Party! We went to Ty and Tiff's new house for Syrie's birthday party. It was so much fun to see everyone! And Tiff and Cat did great decorating!

Went and spent time at Den and Claire's house for the evening and played with the girls!

We drove home Sunday morning to make it to Cody and Kristen's new babies blessing. Boston was blessed and we loved going back to the old ward. We went up to Woods Ranch and had a great time. Tayce got some way good pictures.

That's new baby Boston and below is Kayden, our good buddy!
After a great weekend we spent Monday cleaning and doing whatever we wanted. It was great fun. I wish I had long weekends to spend with Tay every weekend.
