May has been a crazy month in the Robinson house!
This month we have started eating food, a little bit at a time. She's not always too keen on it, but it's a work in progress. We have done apples, sweet potatoes, pears and peas. Some went better than others. She doesn't like apples baby food style, but she loves to chew on a slice. She really doesn't like peas! Sweet potatoes and pears she likes. We've tried texture and she doesn't do well, she pukes usually when she gets anything that's not pureed.
This month was also the first time Olivia got baby sat! Aunt Lindy took Olivia and watched her one of the days of check out. It was helpful, but so hard. It was so weird not to have her around. My house just didn't feel right. Even Tyler came over and said "It just doesn't feel right with Olivia not here." I totally agreed. It sorta felt like it used to be, and I don't want it to be like it used to be. We like having her around.
Someone loves to stand and tries to do it all the time. She now has a cool saucer that Aunt Lindy gave her and she loves it a lot! She's wobbly, but she will try and stand holding onto things.
Sweet potatoes!
Oh so sweet. Olivia is a cuddler! She loves her daddy and the two of them make me smile!
Olivia loves her toys and look at that cute bracelet! Toni made it for Olivia and it finally fits! So darling.
Cutie face! She loves hanging out on my bed.
Look at this outfit! Our dear friends Chris and Kara got it for us. It is so cute. She looks like a flapper! So cute. We had ourselves a St. George date in this one.
This is my happy girl. She is happy! She is happy more than anything else. Tired is the thing that comes closest to happy.
BATH TIM! We do not have a bath tub and she is too big and wiggly for a baby bath, so we got her a Rubbermaid tub! It fits in the shower and it's big enough for her to splash in. It's a hit. Bath time has gotten better since we found her some organic baby wash (her skin is very sensitive).
We painted!!! I told Tay we are moving or painting, so he bought me a gallon of paint. I love the changes, it was very much needed.
Playing playing that is what she does!
Happy Mothers Day! My first mothers day with a baby with me. We didn't plan anything, but when we woke up that morning I told Tayce I wanted to go to Kanab. So he took me to Kanab and I got to be with all my babies.
Olivia was fascinated with the head stones. And she was so cute. She laid on the grass with me for 40 minutes and talked the whole time. I loved it.
Tay got to see his mama and it was a good day. Thank goodness for moms!
On a date with Weston. Got to hang out with Jessica and Weston in St. George. It was great to see them. Jessica and I are on a parent board for the NICU and get to go down once a month and meet with NICU staff and discuss things that can be better and such. It is a great excuse to go see our St. George friends.
This little girl loves to have her pants off in the morning, I don't blame her. When she sleeps through the night she has a pretty full diaper! So in the mornings she gets to hang out and she loves it!
Someone is a daddy's girl. Hanging out with dad on the computer.
Daddy and Olivia snuggling. How cute! Love them so much.
Here is the not liking peas face. Actually she doesn't like peas so much she pukes when I feed them to her. We gave up on peas, Tayce is glad, he doesn't like peas.
Something she does like... watermelon! She started leaning in so I let her have some.
And then she stole it!
Yup she stole my watermelon!
Look closely you can see her hair!!! She is getting hair! Yeah!!!
Someone loves her Uncle Tyler. Ty comes over a few times a week to see her and she loves him. We are glad he decided to stay in Cedar City, we like him a lot.
