LOOK WHOS 9 MONTHS OLD

Holy Cow look at her grow! Olivia is 3/4 of a year old! I cannot believe how fast time flies by. I never thought I would have a baby this big! Now I do. And here is what she does:
  • Rolls from her belly to her back (Almost from her back to her belly)
  • She sits with a bit of support
  • She stands with a bit of support
  • Eats some foods (Loves watermelon, avocados, apples, sweet potatoes and pears)
  • Talks, jabbers, yells and sings
  • Loves grabbing anything she can to put in her mouth, her recent discovery is paper!
  • Scoots around until her head hits something, then she gets mad
  • Falls asleep wherever she is whenever she's tired
  • Love to dance with mom
  • Chews on her finger or her thumb almost all the time
  • Loves being outside even though she had allergies :)
  • Is starting to be a little hesitant with stranger
  • Giggles and laughs all the time
  • Has chubby legs that love to splash in the bathtub
  • Pulls off glasses and pulls hair and jewelry every chance she gets
  • Sleeps through the night most of the time
 Pretty much she's awesome!

Family project, staining the picnic table I got for mothers day.
Here is an example of pulling off glasses! She looks might proud of herself.
There is the table almost done!
Just wanted to show you a little difference in size. This is Olivia not quite a month below and 9 month above! Can you believe that chubby thing above what that little bitty thing below. Crazy, I tell you crazy. I was there every single day and held her and I still have a hard time believing how small she was. What a miracle.

Well, we are all caught up. Hope you enjoyed the massive amount of pictures that i posted! Love you all!

MAY

May has been a crazy month in the Robinson house!
This month we have started eating food, a little bit at a time. She's not always too keen on it, but it's a work in progress. We have done apples, sweet potatoes, pears and peas. Some went better than others. She doesn't like apples baby food style, but she loves to chew on a slice. She really doesn't like peas! Sweet potatoes and pears she likes. We've tried texture and she doesn't do well, she pukes usually when she gets anything that's not pureed.
This month was also the first time Olivia got baby sat! Aunt Lindy took Olivia and watched her one of the days of check out. It was helpful, but so hard. It was so weird not to have her around. My house just didn't feel right. Even Tyler came over and said "It just doesn't feel right with Olivia not here." I totally agreed. It sorta felt like it used to be, and I don't want it to be like it used to be. We like having her around.
Someone loves to stand and tries to do it all the time. She now has a cool saucer that Aunt Lindy gave her and she loves it a lot! She's wobbly, but she will try and stand holding onto things.
 Sweet potatoes!

Oh so sweet. Olivia is a cuddler! She loves her daddy and the two of them make me smile!
Olivia loves her toys and look at that cute bracelet! Toni made it for Olivia and it finally fits! So darling.
Cutie face! She loves hanging out on my bed.

Look at this outfit! Our dear friends Chris and Kara got it for us. It is so cute. She looks like a flapper! So cute. We had ourselves a St. George date in this one.
This is my happy girl. She is happy! She is happy more than anything else. Tired is the thing that comes closest to happy.
BATH TIM! We do not have a bath tub and she is too big and wiggly for a baby bath, so we got her a Rubbermaid tub! It fits in the shower and it's big enough for her to splash in. It's a hit. Bath time has gotten better since we found her some organic baby wash (her skin is very sensitive).
We painted!!! I told Tay we are moving or painting, so he bought me a gallon of paint. I love the changes, it was very much needed.
Playing playing that is what she does!
Happy Mothers Day! My first mothers day with a baby with me. We didn't plan anything, but when we woke up that morning I told Tayce I wanted to go to Kanab. So he took me to Kanab and I got to be with all my babies.
Olivia was fascinated with the head stones. And she was so cute. She laid on the grass with me for 40 minutes and talked the whole time. I loved it.
Tay got to see his mama and it was a good day. Thank goodness for moms!
On a date with Weston. Got to hang out with Jessica and Weston in St. George. It was great to see them. Jessica and I are on a parent board for the NICU and get to go down once a month and meet with NICU staff and discuss things that can be better and such. It is a great excuse to go see our St. George friends.
This little girl loves to have her pants off in the morning, I don't blame her. When she sleeps through the night she has a pretty full diaper! So in the mornings she gets to hang out and she loves it!
Someone is a daddy's girl. Hanging out with dad on the computer.
Daddy and Olivia snuggling. How cute! Love them so much.
Here is the not liking peas face. Actually she doesn't like peas so much she pukes when I feed them to her. We gave up on peas, Tayce is glad, he doesn't like peas.
Something she does like... watermelon! She started leaning in so I let her have some.
And then she stole it!
Yup she stole my watermelon!
Look closely you can see her hair!!! She is getting hair! Yeah!!!
Someone loves her Uncle Tyler. Ty comes over a few times a week to see her and she loves him. We are glad he decided to stay in Cedar City, we like him a lot.

The weekend continued!

Hanging out in my living room.
 Misty hanging out!
Uncle Larry and Aunt Joan came from Oregon!!! It was so great to see them. Lucy sure did like them too.
 Beautiful Auntie Joan!!!
Olivia was trying to suck on my toes, I was laughing, but Aunt Joan saved her from sucking on my toes! So funny!
Christie came to visit! Yeah!!! We love when our friends come to visit!

All and all it was a good weekend. It was long and busy. The week after was SO busy with apartments check in's and check outs. And now a month later it's finally slowing down!!

8 Months old!!! (Yes I know she's 9 months now)

Olivia turned 8 months old the weekend of her baby blessing. Look how big she is!!!! Cute face!

Olivia's Baby Blessing

What a great and wonderful day. Olivia and I woke up early and Dad was sleeping so we had a photo shoot.
She is sitting on my blessing blanket. She's wearing socks from Aunt Vickie and a head band from Aunt Joan.
 What a beautiful girl!
She is so happy in the mornings. I love that I get to spend everyday with her.

Here she is! In her dress made by Grandma Jo. It is gorgeous. She looked so pretty in her long beautiful dress.

She figured out quickly that she could pull it up and chew on it. She did so good though. She didn't puke or poop on it! Good Job Olivia!
Those are her first shoes that fit. They are 0-6weeks shoes and she just barley grew out of them. :)

The blanket she has is her blessing blanket. Charlyn Linton made it for her and we love it. It was light so she didn't get hot. She loves it, she held on to that blanket for days.
Her blessing was beautiful. There were so many good friends and family member there supporting her. It was so nice to have so many loved ones there filling up our chapel. Her blessing was beautiful and her dad did such a good job. I sobbed through the whole thing.
I couldn't believe that I was actually blessing my baby, not in a hospital, not in silence, not with tears of hurt in my eyes. It was so wonderful and amazing. What a blessing it is to have her in my life. What a blessing to have such amazing people in are lives. What a blessing to have the gospel in our lives and a Heavenly Father who loves us.
I love Olivia with all my heart and love that she is my miracle. Everyday I look at her and marvel at her. That she is real and alive and beautiful. Thank you to all of you that have been on this on going journey with us. We appreciate it so very much. Love you all.
