UPDATE!

Sorry for the delay in updating. Been focusing on some other things in my life so I put the blog aside for a bit. Thanks for waiting. :)

HAPPY ST. PATRICK'S DAY!

 Had green eggs and... pancakes!
Olivia and Daddy reading a book. We didn't do much, but we did wear green!
Sweet baby! Love love love her so much.
She's getting so big. I don't know if some of you remember how littler her hand used to be, but it looks huge now to me, but at the same time she's so little. :)
Wearing shoes for the first time. They are too big, but I wanted to show the jellies off!
That is my scarf she pulled it off of me, she wanted to eat it!
She loves putting soft things up to her face and talking to them while eating them of course.

Olivia loves sleeping on my bed. It is her favorite spot to sleep, not with Tayce and I in it just her on it. Little Olivia on a queen size bed, that's the way she likes it with HGTV on.
She was sitting up watching the basketball game (with Tyler of course) and she just tipped over and then fell asleep! I guess she was all balled out.
Sitting so well in her bumbo! She loves it for a little bit and then she's done. When I am cooking or doing the dishes she likes to be included so this makes her happy.

Taking a nap before our temple adventure!
There she is at the temple! Tayce and I hadn't been to the temple for too long and our wonderful MaLynda asked if we would go through with her so we got to go to the temple. We were not ready to let anyone watch her so we went early and Tyler and Tayce went through a session and then Tyler and I went through a session. Long day, but totally worth it. LOVE YOU MaLynda!
Laying on the grass! So nice in St. George. Olivia and I actually got a little warm walking around.
First time in grass! She only like it if her feet were in it. Not laying it it!

She was trying to sit up! She's amazing. I can't get her to roll over, but she wants to sit up by herself.

Well, we are doing well. Loving being a little family and love that warm weather is coming. Olivia has been going through her first cold and is doing pretty amazing! Just trying to get over the congestion and cough. Tayce is working on school and apartment stuff. Applying for jobs, but thinking he wants to stay at the apartments until he is done with school. We'll see what happens.

Lovely Olivia

Miss Olivia is doing well. She went to the cardiologist (heart doctor) and got an echo done, which is an ultrasound of her heart. She enjoyed it for a bit one because they had a movie playing and two she loved trying to eat the jelly stuff. Yuck! After a long appointment the doctor told us she was doing well, but her PDA (a valve that needs to close, basically.) is not closed so we go back in June to see if it's closing or if she has to have it closed for her. So we will keep praying for her and take it all a day at a time. Have a wonderful day.
You will also notice her jammies in some of the pictures, she's decided she doesn't like footy jammies very much any more.

NEW PICTURES!

More photo shoots! Let me just tell you that I am a sucker for photo shoots. This girl is going to have more pictures taken of her than any baby I know, but you know what I love it.
Our friend Bridget came down from Logan and I couldn't resist having a shoot! So here is some of the pictures!

Missy hadn't had a new tutu since October so I made her a new one and made hair accessories to go with it!
So this on Pinterest and had to do it! So there are Olivia's silly toes!
She was not smiling very much at all. She knows camera because as soon as she sees one she just looks at it like a deer in the head lights. So we had to work at getting these.
She only lasted on her belly for a second because she was trying to roll off. She looks good in red though.
Love those big eyes. She is a sweetie for sure. The more she talks and giggles the more I fall in love. I never knew you could love someone so much even thought they wake you up so often.
Had some family pictures too. It was cold so it was hard to get some good ones of miss Olivia, plus she was tired.
Fun!
You better believe you see the shoes. You will see these forever more even when I am old and getting pictures of my big huge family some day! :)

Went to the library and it was so cool to have pictures taken there. It fits our little family well. Tayce loves these ones. He says when he applies for jobs he's going to find a way to put these in them.

Love my sweet family. Love love love them all! Thanks Bridget, you're amazing.

Mom = LOVING IT

Today as we drove home from St. George from Olivia's appointment I just watched her. I sat in the back with her and I watched her and an overwhelming feeling of gratitude and love came over me. I told Tayce "I love her so much, she makes me happy."
I got excited about her right now and how much she makes my heart fill with joy and my life feel great! For the past couple weeks I have had some mixed emotions about life. I know I shouldn't have, but I was struggling. I missed my babies and I was struggling with the fact that Olivia could very well be our only child and how hard it is to adopt and I just kept going on and making myself sick worrying about things I couldn't do ANYTHING about and then I stopped and in the car today I looked at Olivia and I was content. Will it last forever of course not, but I'll try. Does it mean I don't miss my babies that don't get to be with me of course not, but right then in the car I was given a huge heavenly hug that said LOVE what's happening now.
What an amazing blessing. LOVE WHAT'S HAPPENING NOW. I needed that and really I think many of us do a lot of times in our lives. So, my goal in life right now is to love what's happening now, "come what may and love it" Elder Wirthlan put it in a good way too. :)

Thanks for letting me share this. Little update on the Princess of the house.
11 POUNDS 22.5 INCHES!
And thus far developmentally she is doing well. We have somethings to work on, but overall she is AMAZING!

HALF A YEAR OLD!

Oh my goodness does time fly! I cannot believe that Olivia is 6 months old. Time seemed like it was moving so slow when we were in the hospital and then all of a sudden we've been home 3 months and little miss is a half a year old. HOLY MOLY!

HAPPY 6 MONTH BIRTHDAY MISS OLIVIA

Here is little Miss Olivia trying out her new bed! We got her a co-sleeper bed and let me tell you, we should have done this from the beginning!  Who needs a bassinet when you have this! It's great.
So, I won't be ashamed! My daughter loves watching TV and really it's cute. While I get ready for the day she sits on my bed and watches HGTV with me. We LOVE it. She doesn't love Food Network like her mom, but someday it will happen. Her new thing is talking to the TV, she just coos and yells at the TV and it makes me laugh. Don't you love these faces! Oh and excuse the bed.
What a fun Sunday we had. Some family came down to listen to Tyler talk in our old ward. First of all it was so good to see some of our old friends from the Heritage park ward, second it was great to hear Tyler talk, he's grown up so much and third it made my day to hang out with my family and make dinner with my mom for everyone. Here we are above playing Ticket To Ride, Tyler's new favorite game.
Great Grandpa Roy holding Olivia. So cute! What a lucky girl to be able to hang out with her Great Grandparents!
Below: Olivia is still loving her swing. Now she likes to talk to the animals on the side. I think she gets mad sometimes because she will yell and then start talking and then yell and then cry. It's pretty amusing.

The day this miracle was born!

Dear Olivia, I hope some day this is in a book and you get to read it! I LOVE YOU! Thank you for bringing me more joy than I ever could imagine. Thank you for bringing a spirit into our home only you could bring. Thank you for being my miracle. I love you more everyday and I am eternally grateful that our Heavenly Father allowed you to make it!
I have loved watching you grow and learn and become an active baby girl. I have loved seeing you smile and especially smiling when you see me in the morning. You bring my heart so much joy. I love you forever and always and no matter what.
LOVE, Your Mommy
