2nd Day of Christmas

Second Day of Christmas
On the 2nd day of Christmas my gift is my sweet Tayce and Olivia. What a HUGE blessing they are in my life. Tayce is the best husband a girl could ask for and the bestest friend I have ever had. He is also an amazing father to all of our children. He is full of the spirit and helps me so much. He makes me smile even when I think I don't want to and helps me through my trials. I LOVE HIM SO MUCH!
Olivia is my pride and joy. She melts my heart and makes me smile. She is such a joy to have in my life and makes our home so much better. Her sweet, sweet spirit shines in our home and makes me remember the things that really matter. I love her with all my heart and she will always be my miracle.

Below is a series of pictures of Tay holding his baby girl. It is so sweet and I love to see them together.

THIS IS A LONG POST :)
I figured I would do some update pictures too. I don't want to make anyone miss us too much. Enjoy.

We had a photo shoot with this new hat Olivia got. We got it from our friend the Bodily's and we LOVE it. Thank you so much Natasha!

We had to have a naked day because this little one cannot wear a hat and clothes without over heating. So, she wore a hat instead of clothes.

Dad got this picture one day. We were sleeping!
Here she is on December 8th She's getting so big. You won't believe how big she's gotten in her next Cabbage Patch Doll picture.
 Oh my sweet angel.
Sleeping in her blanket from Aunt Leeann! She is just fine with crocheted blankets if her feet have socks or footed pant on. If her toes are free she gets so mad at the blanket because her toes get in the holes.
Love that hat! Merry Christmas All!

On the 1st Day of Christmas!

This is a belated post.
I have decided that I am going to post the 12 days of Christmas and I am going to post about what I feel the gifts I have been given. Hope that makes sense to you all. I am doing this in hopes to find a little more Christmas spirit this year. I am happy and all, but it just doesn't feel like Christmas. Tay supposes it's because my year was so crazy, he's probably right. :)

First Day of Christmas
On the first day of Christmas I would like to talk about the gift of the gospel in my life. Religion has came so naturally to me. Even as a young child my mom tells me stories that I would put a dress on, on Sunday and tell her it was time for church. I was just born to be religious I guess. No matter how it happened it has and it is who I am. I do not belong to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints because I was told to, because my parents are, because I live in Utah (I was raised in a very non-LDS place) or because I 'have' too. I belong to the church because I want too. It is the right place to be and I believe in it because I have prayed and read and prayed and read and prayed so more. I belong to this church because the spirit has told me that it is true, I belong to this church because they believe and know that families can be together for eternity, I belong to the church because it is where I need to be to be happy. My religion is who I am everyday not just Sunday, it is my life style and I choose to live it and will choose to live it forever. The church is true and if you have forgotten get on your knees and remember if you don't know you can give it a try, if you say no way then soot yourself I still love you. This is my first day of Christmas gift and I am who I am because of it.

Beautiful Baby

Thank you to Michelle Federkeil! If you ever need a WONDERFUL photographer, I've got her number. Hope you all enjoy, because we sure did. It is a blessing beyond measure to have this miracle in our lives.
We took off her oxygen and put it on in between pictures. She did great. Earlier that day she pulled her cannula off and I just watched her and she went almost 15 minutes without it and then slowly started to dip. So we put it back on.

I love that little smile, she does this a lot. It's not a full on smile just a smirk. It's so cute. :)
 LOVE

Her polka dot outfit didn't get the best of pictures because she was really wiggly. She sleeps a lot like a new born, but when she doesn't like something and/or she's awake she tries to get up and walk away.

We found a dress that sorta fit her. I love polka dots! They just fit for her.

There is a photo in the hospital like this and every time I saw it I wanted one with Olivia. So, we did it and then Michelle had a great idea and the next photo came about.
After I had Alice I really wanted a way to represent Graydin and Alice in our family photos in the future. I feel strongly that they not be forgotten and I have some good friends that gave me different ideas, things that they did in their photos. When one of my friends did a pair of cowboy boots I knew what I needed to do. I am a shoe-a-holic, I love them and I love converse. I wore them when I was young and I wear them now. So we looked everywhere and found the smallest pair of purple ones they make and then bought a little bigger ones in green. When we Olivia is big enough she will be wearing orange ones. So, this is our first family picture! LOVE it.
This picture has a story also. On the right is Alice's hat that she wore in some of her pictures. We got it from the hospital and we loved it for her. In the hospital Olivia got a blanket from the exact same yarn. They gave me a choice of what blanket I wanted and I immediately chose this one, without even knowing why. Then I got it home and looked at it and almost started to cry, it was the same as Alice's things. So we took some pictures of 'them' together.

Perfect picture. I love it, it melts my heart and makes me think of both of my beautiful girls.

Well here we are. Merry Christmas from the Robinson's! :) That cute giraffe is from a wonderful friend and I bet she didn't know I would put it on my tree.
Love you all so much and I know I don't know so many of you, but the love and support helps us each day. Have a great day and a wonderful Christmas season!

Life is Good

There are my two biggest blessings! They love to take naps together. When they are sleeping I just watch them and thank my Heavenly Father for them in my life. Love them both so very much. And I have to say, Tayce is a great dad. I knew he would be, but it is so much fun to see how much he loves Olivia, it makes my heart melt.
This bundle of joy is changing my life in more ways then one. She makes me think in a whole different way. Graydin and Alice gave me an eternal perspective a gift that I would never have gotten without them. I love them so much and now that Olivia is here I  think that way and plus I have to think about how I need to raise her so she will have that same perspective. What joy it brings to me that I am allowed to be a mother to the most beautiful children in the whole world. What a blessing to be called a mother. It makes my heart break over and over knowing that people take for granted the gift of being a mother, it's a privilege and I hope I always remember that.
Oh, and she still LOVES her baths. She relaxes so much and it's cute every time!
Olivia thinks she doesn't need her oxygen and we would totally take it off if she didn't change colors after a little bit. She did go 15 mins with out her oxygen before her numbers started to slowly go down. I didn't want to risk it so she got her oxygen back on before she could change colors. :)
Don't you love her face? She, no doubt thinks her mother is a bit crazy, but really who wouldn't be?
Life as a mom is fun. I hope it sinks in more some time, but while I am in limbo I will sit and hold her and stare at her all day. I am trying to figure out this new life style of mine. Not only having a baby, but quitting my job is a big change in activity and income. There are  a lot of things I need to learn better. Like; budgeting, menu planning, the love of cleaning and so on. :) I know it will come and thankfully I have some amazing people in my life that do these things better then me, so I will be asking for help. I know some of you are very proud of that statement. :p
She does smile more and more each day. It is usually in the morning, she's not quite to the point that she responds all the time, but in the morning it seems like she does more so.
This cute shirt is from our good friend Shannie, we LOVE it! Thanks Shannie. I love getting her dressed each day, she only has so many outfits that fit right now and really each day we are growing out of the preemie stuff and not quite fitting into the newborn stuff, but really she can wear anything and be cute so who cares!
She loves her soft minky blankets! She definitely is related to me because she loves having a blanket when she sleeps. It's cute.
This is her today! She is wearing PINK. I had to put that for some of my favorite sisters in my ward. :) Love you ladies.
Olivia is doing so well, we couldn't be more blessed. It's been a long road and really I wouldn't change it. I know that is weird, but I am who I am because of the road I have went down. I would love to have all the children I want, in the way I want them to come, but I know that is not the case for me and it's okay. Somedays will be hard I know that, but if I remember why we are here and what I have I can always be happy.
A little shout out to those who might be having a hard time, my prayers are with you. This time of year seems to bring challenges and hard times and that is unfortunate. Heavenly Father loves you and he knows that what ever life brings you, you can do it. May you remember how special you are and that this life is worth it even if it seems like you're always in the deep end of the pool. Love you and I am thankful for you in our life.

My Olivia

Every time I look at my beautiful baby I am overwhelmed with joy and gratitude. Joy that I would be allowed to be her mother. Gratitude that she is home and well, gratitude that we have so many loved ones that give us so much support, gratitude that we have the gospel. I don't know if this will ever feel real or if I'll always feel like someone is going to knock on the door and thank me for babysitting. I could never thank you all enough. Much love.
She sleeps with her eyes open!

LOVE

My heart is full of love. My sweet Olivia just melts my heart. This morning she was so smiley. When I sang her, her sunshine song she smiled! And when I told her I loved her she smiled again! And just now I laid her down, I thought she was asleep, I was wrong. So I started to talk to her and tell her how much I was grateful for her being here with me, she smiled again. And she just looked right into my eyes and tears just streamed down my face because she is such a miracle. Her spirit is so strong and vibrant and at that moment my testimony was strengthened. She and all of us are children of God and we are here for a purpose. We might not know every purpose, but each of us are meant for more then we know.
Have to give a shout out to some amazing women, who always help me out when I've had a rough day.
Thank you ladies from HALO you make me a better person and help me so much. You ladies are truly a blessing in my life. Love you.
